The Center for Applied Plant Sciences (CAPS) and the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center (ABRC) will once again serve as a host site for OSU's Breakfast of Science Champions program at 9:30 on the morning of the 9th. Forty seventh grade students from the Columbus City School District will visit CAPS and ABRC for a morning packed with science learning. Students will join faculty, staff and graduate students for breakfast before touring the centers’ laboratories, growth chambers and greenhouse. Additionally, students will engage in a variety of hands-on activities that demonstrate the important ways plants impact our lives. The event will conclude at approximately 12 pm after a morning filled with excited learning and breakfast.
