On Tuesday, March 1^st and Thursday, March 3^rd, 2016, in partnership with the Byrd Polar Research Center, The Center for Applied Plant Sciences and the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center served as a field trip site for more than 75 eighth grade students from Olentangy Middle School. During their visit students toured CAPS and the ABRC and conducted hands-on activities including extracting DNA from applesauce.
