Molecular Genetics Open Faculty Position

Aronoff Laboratory on The Ohio State University Columbus campus

The Department of Molecular Genetics in the College of Arts & Sciences at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek outstanding candidates using cutting edge techniques to investigate fundamental mechanisms in plant developmental and/or cell biology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded, and internationally recognized research program and teach courses in their area of expertise. The candidate will be eligible for membership in University Centers including The Center for Applied Plant Sciences. The hire will join a departmental faculty who study fundamental biological questions using a wide variety of model organisms, and will become part of a strong campus-wide plant biology community.
