Dr. Tom Mitchell partners with The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez: Advanced Genomics of Fungi Workshop
Dr. Tom Mitchell, Associate Professor of Fungal Biology and Parasitism and CAPS Team Member, traveled to The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez last month {June 16-20th} to participate and instruct during the Advanced Genomics of Fungi Workshop. This workshop is dedicated to professional development and education for graduate students of the College of Agricultural Sciences. Much like the CAPS Practical Summer Workshop in Functional Genomics- this event pulled together expert faculty instructors and lecturers as well as intense lab modules in order to expose these students to cutting edge techniques and theories.
