The CAPS leadership team used results of a July 2018 ideation session to identify three broad priority areas for further center investment: Discovery and Applications of Plant Secondary Metabolites, Redesigning Productive Landscapes, and Development of Bio-based Materials. CAPS will host three workshops (11:30 – 4:00) in 102 Rightmire Hall during November to help identify research opportunities for new scientific teams to be supported by CAPS investment (potentially upwards of 0.5M in 2019).
