CAPS will host decorated scientist Dr. Stefano Mancuso as he presents during the ASC Science Sundays public lecture series. Dr. Mancuso is a Professor at the University of Florence, Director and Founder of the International Laboratoy of Plant Neurobiology and Founder of the International Society for Plant Signaling.
Mancuso's talk, "Brilliant Green- from plant intelligence to a model of modernity" will highlight the work from his recently (March 2015) published book, Brilliant Green: The Surprising History and Science of Plant Intelligence. Mancuso asks and answers our questions surrounding plant behavior, IQ, and their likeness to humans and other animals.
