This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Jory Weintraub, Science Communication Program Director for the Duke Initiative for Science and Society.This professional development opportunity is open to faculty, postdocs, graduate students and staff. CAPS and STEAM Factory members will receive priority registration from September 4th-18th. Available spaces will be opened up to the larger Ohio State community after the priority registration period closes.Workshop topics include:An introduction to science communicationCommunicating with potential fundersCommunicating controversial scienceGiving better presentationsUsing social mediaAnd more!There is no cost to attend, and lunch will be provided.
