The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Recognition Program took place on April 17, 2014. It is a celebration of student excellence as well as a time to show appreciation for the contributions made by faculty, staff, and friends outside the college to improve the student experience. 

Our congratulations goes out to Dr. Tom Mitchell, who was awarded the Rodney F. Plimpton Outstanding Young Teacher Award. The audience of approximately 650, were read student testimonails including, "This was one of the top five courses I have ever taken" and "Dr. Mitchell is tremedously engaging and works to show why fungi is so amazing".
